Bert Hodge Post 45 was named after "Henry Gilbert (Bert) Hodge" who member of the local firefighters before he went to war in WWI. He was killed in Fismes, France, August 10, 1918.

Bert Hodge Post 45 is a non-profit Veterans organization that works to support our fellow veterans, their families, and the community. Because we do not have a bar we support ourselves through our breakfast, dinner and lunch service, as well as other fund raisers.

The post was chartered in 1919. We are coming up on our Centennial anniversary very quickly. We thank you for visiting our website, and welcome you to visit the post in person. We serve some of the best food in the county and are always looking for new members and guest.

We are veterans helping veterans.
